"State Farm is expensive and we all know this… Besides that point this was my experience when I called today. Luis the office manger answered the phone and as I am explaining the reason for my call, he interrupts me to laugh off that he didn’t hear the purpose of my call due to the fact that he just had to take a “drink.” You’re a human hydrate, but a bit unprofessional…moving on. I was attempting to cancel my policy since I had recently sold my car and moved to Progressive where I was able to get a less expensive policy. He assumed (in my opinion) because he was not LISTENING, that I was going to add my new car to the policy. No, that was not the case and then proceeds tells me that “he doesn’t understand what’s happening and is confused with what is going on with me.” Folks this was not a complicated situation and all he was trying to do was get me to make the past due payment which of course was no longer due once my policy was cancelled. He then tried to keep me on the phone on hold in silence while he cancelled my policy. When I politely said I’d rather not be on hold, could you email me the confirmation he continued trying to keep me on the phone by interrupting me and after his disrespect to me it was no longer beneficial for me to remain on the line in silence. It got to the point where I had to tell him I was going to disconnect the call because he was still talking over me. I did receive my cancellation and am grateful to not have to speak to this State Farm office any longer."
